The Calgary Cambridge style of questioning will be used to ensure patient safety, allowing the clinician to gather information, provide structure to the consultation, build a relationship with the patient, provide explanation and information of all treatments before planning the treatment itself, taking in to consideration BDD.
Emma studied Clinical Nursing at Bournemouth University, Occupational Health Nursing at the University of West Scotland and Aesthetic Nursing in Harley Street, London.
She is a Nurse Prescriber, insured by Hamilton Fraser, the leading insurance company for Aesthetic Practitioners. This qualification allows her to make an assessment of her clients health before prescribing prescription only medication. This must always be a face to face consultation and the patients should have a time to consider the risks and benefits before proceeding to a treatment. She is registered with the Nursing Midwifery Council (NMC) and belongs to the British association of cosmetic nurses (BACN) and the Aesthetic complication expert group (ACE). Emma adheres to these strict guidelines and standards.
Emma’s passion is to ensure that patients achieve a natural youthful look with regular skincare and the option of additional aesthetic treatments.
AlumierMD skincare is her product of choice. These products are luxury medical grade (as approved by the FDA) with a range to suit different skin types. Product ingredients are active and therefore can treat skin conditions including acne, rosacea, dry skin, pigmentation and ageing skin. Alumier means to ‘illuminate’ which means ‘to make clear or bright’ and that is what Emma hopes to achieve for your skin…’Clear, bright and beautiful skin!’
Emma is keen to educate about the impact of sun damage and is passionate about the importance of regular Sun Protection Factor (SPF) all year round. Skin damage or skin imperfections can be assessed to see which treatment is suitable for each individual patient.
