How you can Build Longevity into your Skin Health everyday?
Autumn is well and truly here and with it the very first inklings of (whisper it) the holiday season….yes Christmas will be here before we know it!
The skin reacts to different temperatures and as we turn up the heating and wrap up in cold winds and rain….we will all need to think how we can look after our skin better especially as we age!

In the skincare space, there’s been a move towards pro-ageing and a much wider focus on health and wellness. In general, we are all becoming more considerate about living longer, healthier lives with an emphasis on making the most of every moment.
I am particularly focusing on your home skincare approach in this blog and the quality of your skin health, its ability to repair, rejuvenate and how you keep it healthy long term, this also includes preventative care for skin.
This will help your skin look younger for longer so it’s a double whammy of the good stuff!

Part of a skin longevity strategy is about protecting and maintaining healthy, youthful skin. I can help you build a skin longevity routine that will combine maintenance with rejuvenation.
Here are a few of my top tips for Autumn home skin treatments for skin longevity are:
Ensure you cleanse every morning and evening (this is a form of exfoliating dead skin in preparation of what you will put on it next)
Ensure you exfoliate with Alumier microdermabrasion or ZO Exfoliating Polish at least 3 times a week….i exfoliate everyday, but that because my skin loves it and I love glowing skin…please be guided how your skin responds, but a minimum of 3 days a week will give your skin the best chance of cell renewal
Perform the Enzymatic peel at least once a week….Im not going to lie….I like to do this 3 times a week! Some days Ill use the ZO one, as this can be left on over night, other days I love the Alumier Enzymatic peel as its more tangy and my skin loves the tingle and results of glowing skin!
If you have put your retinol to the back of the cupboard…now is the time to get it out and start using it gradually building to at least 4-5 nights a week when you can

Finally yes you can apply hydration after any of these steps and in particular if you are suffering with skin irritations, then yes apply hydration….the best hydration I apply everyday is SPF!
