Plumping the lips without filler
Overfilled lips are taking a backseat, with naturally hydrated, plump lips stepping into the spotlight with minimal carefully placed injectables and regenerative treatments, such as injectable skin boosters, becoming the latest trend in lip plumping. “Patients can plump lips and give that boost with the use of injectable skin boosters as an alternative to filler, which are still hyaluronic acid-based, but are stimulating collagen and elastin production, renewing the cells, a

Why vitamin C for skin?
We eat vitamin C in or diet, so why do we need it applied topically to the skin? Vitamin C isn’t naturally produced by the body, so in order to reap its benefits it needs to be applied topically to the skin and incorporated into a healthy diet with foods such as citrus fruits. Is vitamin C really necessary…..Yes! Collagen is a naturally occurring protein that depletes over time. Lower levels of collagen can lead to fine lines and wrinkles. Skin rejuvenation will always start with skincare, but which in clinic treatments really work and why? Here are Emma’s top 6 treatments to improve those signs of ageing including fine lines, wrinkles and skin pigmentations In our opinion (and these are the treatments Emma has regularly) All of these treatments work at different layers of the skin and are either stimulating collagen, turning over old dead skin cells or replacing volume and stimulating RF micro-needling (3-4 ti

It helps unclog pores, reducing spot or acne breakouts Retinol increases collagen production, which can reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, giving your skin a fresher, plump appearance With the increased cellular turnover your skin pigmentations will be reduced, giving you glowing & younger looking skin There are

Alumier MD at Home Treatment
I have only recently discovered the Alumier Refining Clay mask, although this might be similar to one of their in clinic products a few years ago… I loved it then but I’d forgotten about it! However; it is now in my bathroom as another at home professional treatment The clay mask is essentially great for drawing out any impurities, including excess oil whilst exfoliating the skin to give your skin a more even toned and smoother appearance Probably not the best for those new

The ZO Home treatments
This at ZO at home treatment is one of my favourites, as it really gives your skin a boost and can be performed 1-2 times a week Personally I like this at nighttime, but if you do it in the day, remember to add SPF!! Step 1 Cleanse your skin using your ZO cleanser Step 2 Apply a large pea size of ZO exfoliating polish to wet hand and gently rub into the whole face (Use more if covering face, neck & décolletage) for 2-3 mins, then rinse off with warm water. Pat dry your skin.
