Why vitamin C for skin?

We eat vitamin C in or diet, so why do we need it applied topically to the skin?
Vitamin C isn’t naturally produced by the body, so in order to reap its benefits it needs to be applied topically to the skin and incorporated into a healthy diet with foods such as citrus fruits.
Is vitamin C really necessary…..Yes!
Collagen is a naturally occurring protein that depletes over time. Lower levels of collagen can lead to fine lines and wrinkles. Vitamin C is well known for boosting collagen production through the process of collagen synthesis. In fact, collagen synthesis can’t happen without vitamin C.
Did you know vitamin C is water soluble?
That means it can pass through the skin easily

Did you know that topical vitamin C has completed numerous trials by dermatologists and they state that used daily it may help slow early skin aging, prevent sun damage, and improve the appearance of wrinkles, dark spots, and acne
So when & how do you apply it
Every morning!
If you are using ZO, apply after Daily power defense or if using Alumier apply before ultimate boost!
Its not necessary at night time, as it is more defective in daylight
Apply vitamin C to dry skin, apply before a hydrating serum or moisturiser and before SPF!!
Alumier vitamin C comes in a brown bottle to prevent the serum oxidising, so once it’s open it last only as long as the serum is pale in colour.
ZO vitamin C is self activating and therefore once applied to the skin you will need to rub it in, to activate it.
